Ararat to Maryborough - Rail safety in schools

Students from schools situated along the Ararat to Maryborough line have participated in rail safety workshops and been given a firsthand look at track works being completed as part of the project’s Rail Safety in Schools program.

Students from Avoca Primary School, Amphitheatre Primary School and the Elmhurst Primary School have learnt how to be safe around the railway and visited the work sites to see the track upgrades in action.

Students have a better awareness of the need to be vigilant around trains once the Maryborough to Ararat line reopens.
